Chris-Craft Announces Consumer Debut of New Sportster 28 Outboard at Miami International Boat Show
Second model in the new Sportster line delivers innovative features and versatility
SARASOTA, Fla., Feb. 10, 2025 – Chris-Craft, America’s Boatbuilder Since 1874, will debut the Sportster 28 bowrider in an outboard configuration to consumers for the first time at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show February 12-16 the company announced today. The Sportster 28 is the second model in the new Sportster line launched last year, crafted for today’s adventure seekers and watersports enthusiasts.
The Sportster 28 boasts incomparable craftsmanship, thrilling versatility, and state-of-the-art features such as an intuitive command center with a streamlined dashboard that integrates a custom Chris-Craft interface, refined teak accents, and a leather-wrapped stainless steel steering wheel. An innovative pull-down swim step ensures seamless water access, offering easy and graceful entry and exit, and an inviting L-shaped port cockpit with generous storage area.

The Sportster 28 offers notable features including an optional hard top that houses both indirect accent lighting and hidden integrated speakers, a sun pad with flip-up backrest for ultimate lounging comfort, midship and portside aft compartments, multiple transom storage areas, and a premium audio system with 6 JL Audio Speakers and a 10” subwoofer with custom Chris-Craft stainless steel speaker grills

With the debut of the Sportster 28 outboard, the Sportster line now includes the Sportster 25 sterndrive and surf, and the Sportster 28 sterndrive. The Sportster 28 surf will debut this spring.
