Winnebago Industries Promotes Bryan Weringa to Internal Controls Compliance Manager

FOREST CITY, IOWA, November 14, 2005 – Winnebago Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WGO), announced that Bryan Weringa has recently been promoted to the new position of Internal Controls Compliance Manager. This position reports to the Controller of the Company.
In this new position, Weringa is responsible for Winnebago Industries' internal controls compliance, particularly with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 regulations, including the development, evaluation and testing of internal controls over financial reporting.
Weringa has served as a general accountant since joining Winnebago Industries in 1999.
He graduated from Spencer College, Spencer, Iowa with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Advanced Accounting; and Briar Cliff University, Algona, Iowa campus with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
A native of Elmore, Minnesota; Weringa, his wife, Tanya; and their three children live in Lakota, Iowa.
